CASE STUDY

Overcoming Emotional Struggles

Finding Peace and Confidence Amidst Personal Challenges

OPPORTUNITY

The client was overwhelmed with feelings of responsibility as if they were shouldering the burden of their job alone. Working long hours added to their stress and they were unable to find a way to improve their situation. Their past experiences had left them with feelings of distrust toward others and a loss of their own identity. Despite knowing she was knowledgeable and capable, she felt useless and believed that nothing she did would make a difference. These challenges prompted her to seek help as she was struggling to cope with the negative impact these feelings were having on her life.

ACTION

Rebecca’s training helped the individual in this case by focusing on several key areas to improve their well-being. The client was introduced to calming and grounding techniques to help them feel relaxed and more in control. Communication tools were taught to help her feel safe and powerful, and also how to release limiting beliefs that were holding them back. She was taught how to observe and describe her feelings, allowing her to process and manage them more effectively. This included learning how to sit with her feelings and identify which parts of her body were experiencing them. Rebecca’s coaching also emphasised the importance of making space for positive emotions and learning to recognise and enjoy them when they occur. Overall, the approach of Mind Coach Academy was tailored to help the individual improve their emotional and mental well-being.

RESULT

As a result of her sessions with Rebecca, the client found that her colleagues were speaking more respectfully to her and she felt deserving and comfortable within herself. She became more trusting of herself and others, was able to make decisions with confidence and began to recognise and enjoy positive emotions when they came along. This change in mindset and behaviour has had a profound impact on her overall well-being and happiness.
